BAR owner Alex Proud has come up with a detailed plan to make sure his Camden Town neighbours are not disturbed by late-night noise.

The owner of the new Proud Bar and Gallery in the Stables Market is desperate to keep residents happy and has drawn up a five-page strategy.

Mr Proud was required to submit the document as part of the planning consent for the bar, granted by the Town Hall last year. Now is it going before planners to ensure he keeps to his word.

Measures include bringing in extra noise barriers, making sure revellers leave the area quickly and the introduction of a marshalled taxi rank.
