Actress and columnist Maureen Lipman will tell all about working with Laurence Olivier and Hugh Jackman at a charity talk in Hampstead next month.

Ms Lipman, who lived in Hampstead for seven years in the 1970s and then in Muswell Hill for many years, will reflect on her long career as an actress and writer at a fundraising talk for Keats Community Library, in Keats Grove on January 20.

The 67-year-old, known for playing comedian Joyce Grenfell, said: “The history and future of that lovely building are important to the village of Hampstead so I am keen to help if I can.”

An Evening with Maureen Lipman will take place at 7.30pm in the Peter Samuel Theatre at the Royal Free Hospital, in Pond Street. Booking is recommended.
