A renowned fireplace firm which counts film director Stephen Spielberg and Buckingham Palace among its clients has celebrated its 40th anniversary.
Acquisitions Fireplaces marked the milestone by refurbishing its three-floor showroom in Holmes Road, Kentish Town, last month.
The company first started renovating antique fireplaces in January 1975. It now restores originals and sells a mixture of contemporary fireplaces and reproductions.
It was recently granted permission to reproduce the original fireplaces at Kenwood House.
Managing director Jonathan Kennedy, whose father founded the business, said: “I feel very proud.”
