More than 600 voices rang out at The Highgate Society’s annual carols last Wednesday, in the illuminated Pond Square.
Families were led in song by The Highgate School’s symphonic band and concert choir.
“It was a perfect evening – it was relatively mild and we sang all of our favourite carols,” said Sue Vinson, PR spokesperson for the society.
“Everyone was very generous with their donations, which will go to the North London Hospice,” she added.
The singalong raised money in aid of the hospice, a multi-faith house that provides specialist palliative care for those with advanced progressive disease.
