The forum+ Autumn Programme is underway and we’ve delighted in connecting in the emerging autumn weather.
For autumn 2026 we have created a programme which promotes wellbeing, reduces loneliness and celebrates our culture. Our upcoming social support groups include all year-round favourites Cooking With Pride and Rainbow Paddlers, alongside a variety of activities including gardening, museum tours and cosy indoor events. On September 19 it’s our annual cookout and picnic in Paradise Park and we look forward to the forum+ International Film Club returning for Season 7 in November.
All forum+ social support groups and services are free to access and join. Not only are our activities and events lots of fun but they are also about building confidence, connections and acquiring skills. At forum+ we pride ourselves in having a deep knowledge of our local area and we’re always delighted when we can connect and learn from community groups and great organisations across Camden and Islington.

Our planning for Camden & Islington LGBT History Month has started and we’ll shortly be sharing a call out for submissions to the official programme, which will take place in February. The theme for 2027 will be announced by the national campaign via https://lgbtplushistorymonth.co.uk/ and we excitedly await the announcement. If you’d like to discuss event ideas or have already planned an exciting engagement, we’d love to hear details and feature it in what promises to be one of the UK’s biggest and best celebrations of LGBT History Month.
National Hate Crime Awareness Week (NHCAW) 2026 will take place from October 10 to October 17. forum+ will be engaging in action and education across Camden and Islington, offering training and awareness sessions where attendees learn about LGBT rights and the law. We will join community partners at the Arsenal Community Hub where local primary and secondary school pupils will learn about hate crime, understand the impact it can have and how we can all encourage respect, inclusion and positive community relations.
If you are facing hardship, struggling with loneliness, or if you are a victim of anti-LGBT+ hate crime, please reach out and contact forum+. We’d be delighted to welcome you to our social support groups in Camden and Islington, and if forum+ is unable to directly support you, we will signpost you to organisations or services that can.
To join with forum+ and for updated information on all our upcoming community engagements, please email info@forumplus.org.uk and visit our website at www.forumplus.org.uk
