The latest applications for 82 Hampstead High Street concern details of materials for the new rear extension, and replacement of the crumbling chimney pots.
Over the decades, the former Georgian house has been home to a succession of restaurants.
In the 80s and 90s it was atmospheric wood-panelled French bistro the Cafe des Arts, then another French-inspired eaterie called The Crinnigan Rooms, and then it housed pan-Asian restaurant Goldfish.
Its most recent occupant was Thai-inspired Patara - which was open from 2016 to 2024.
Along with the neighbouring restaurant at No 83 - the former Cote Brasserie which closed in 2024 - the building is Grade II listed, with English Heritage describing them in 1970 as an "early 18th century pair of terraced houses, now a shop and restaurant".
The listing goes on to describe the brown brick and red brick arches, recessed sash windows with exposed boxing, and parapet while noting: "Interior not inspected but noted to have some panelled rooms."
Now, developer Chrifin Ltd is overhauling the building following a successful application last year (2025/2518/L) to refurbish the ground floor restaurant and first and second floor apartments.
The plans will also install a single storey rear extension and change the first floor commercial space to create one additional flat.
According to the latest application (2026/2726/L) work got underway last November.
The application lodged by Lytle Associates Architects includes drawings and facing materials for the rear extensions at 82 Hampstead High Street to ensure they are in keeping with the listed building status.
Interested parties have until October 4 to comment on the plans.
