Historic Hampstead pub The Roebuck is set to close for a "beautiful touch up before the Christmas season".
The Pond Street boozer will pull its last pint on September 14 ahead of the refurbishment.
And landlords are inviting regulars back on October 9 for a party with free pints, a taste of the new menu, and live music.
Posting on its Instagram page, the pub wrote that the makeover would be "a beautiful touch up before the Christmas season".
In a later post they added: "We are closed for a refurbishment 14th Sept- 8th October, but coming back with a bang with our re-opening party 9th October!!🥳
"First 100 pints of Stone & Woods are free at 6pm. Live music, free taste of our new menu, charity tombola and more to come….
"So come and book now to see our new makeover."🥰
Another post pictured the pub in the 1950s when it was The Roebuck Hotel, adding: "Roebuck has had many faces but will always still be The Roebuck.
"Look out on the 9th October for its next new look."👀
Located opposite The Royal Free Hospital, The Roebuck dates back to around 1860 and is Grade II listed.
It was bought by pub chain Youngs in 2008 and has a traditional decor and country pub feel, boasting an outdoor terrace at the front and a beer garden out back.
It also has leather armchairs, boarded floor panelled walls and an open fireplace.
The pub serves cask ales and pub classics such as battered fish and chips and Sunday roasts and hosts regular quiz and comedy nights and live sports screenings.
