Electronic duo Maribou State brought the curtain down on one chapter of their career with a powerful, emotional headline set.
The performance at Victoria Park’s Lido Festival also marked the start of an indefinite hiatus for the pair.
Consisting of Chris Davids and Liam Ivory, Maribou State closed the festival with what may be their final live show for the foreseeable future, following the conclusion of their Hallucinating Love tour.

Mr Ivory said: "It feels like the right moment to actually stop rather than push straight into the next cycle like we always have before. From my perspective, this record came from a place of health struggles, so it would be a bit hypocritical to finish an album about resilience and then immediately burn myself out again.
"I want proper time to reset physically and mentally, and to build a life that isn’t entirely dictated by a touring schedule."
The announcement added a sense of poignancy to the night, transforming it from a typical festival finale to an emotional send-off for a band whose fanbase has grown significantly in recent years.
Promising their biggest production yet, Maribou State performed with a full choir and orchestra, delivering a set that was both visually and musically immersive.
Guest vocalists Andreya Triana and Talulah Ruby delivered standout performances, while tracks like Midas and Blackoak drew huge reactions from the crowd.
Earlier in the day, the festival offered a diverse line-up of acts, including drum and bass veterans Calibre and LTJ Bukem, whose track Atlantis was a highlight.
House and disco act Collect 200 kept energy levels high, while Welsh producer Kelly Lee Owens delivered a hypnotic set that included Underworld’s Born Slippy.
On the main stage, Kelis entertained the crowd with a string of hits including Milkshake and Bounce. Despite not reaching full capacity, the crowd that gathered was enthusiastic and deeply engaged, helping to create a memorable atmosphere.
As Maribou State closed their set beneath a shower of white confetti, the sense of finality was clear. If this was their last live performance, it was a powerful and fitting farewell.
