A new golf event is teeing off to raise funds for a national autism charity.
Ambitious about Autism will host its first-ever Ambitious Golf Day on September 28, at Muswell Hill Golf Club, just a short distance from TreeHouse School, one of the charity’s specialist schools.
The event will welcome teams of four for a full day on the course, starting at 9am, with breakfast on arrival, on-course competitions, a raffle, and a buffet dinner.

Danae Leaman-Hill, Director of External Affairs and Development at Ambitious about Autism, said: "We're delighted to bring together both longstanding and new supporters for our inaugural Ambitious Golf Day.
"This exciting new fundraiser provides a fantastic opportunity for businesses and individuals to enjoy a memorable day on the course in support of autistic children, young people, and their families. Every team that takes part will help us continue our vital work, providing the support and opportunities that autistic children and young people need to learn, thrive and achieve."
Entry costs £500 per team, with all funds supporting the charity’s work with autistic children, young people, and their families.
Ambitious about Autism runs five specialist schools and colleges across London and the South East, including TreeHouse School, which was established in 1997 on Woodside Avenue by parents seeking better educational opportunities for their autistic children.
The charity also operates two online networks, an employability programme, and a Supported Internships programme, all aimed at helping autistic young people build connections and access meaningful opportunities. In addition to its direct services, the charity campaigns nationally to improve the experiences in employment, education, and health and social care for autistic children and young people.
Teams can register via the charity’s website at www.ambitiousaboutautism.org.uk. Businesses interested in sponsorship opportunities are encouraged to contact the Corporate Partnerships team by emailing corporatepartnerships@ambitiousaboutautism.org.uk.
