Nostalgia for the 1930s building that stands on Highgate Road ranges from watching the Saturday morning pictures as a kid to attending an Irish dance - or gigs by legendary bands.
The 02 Forum in Kentish Town is still open as a live venue, but over its more than 90 year history it has enjoyed a number of lives - including a period at the heart of the British music scene.
Everyone from The Arctic Monkeys and Velvet Underground to Justin Timberlake and Rihanna have played the venue, which first opened its doors as The Forum on December 17, 1934.

The luxury Art Deco picture house was designed - like its sister theatres in Ealing and Fulham - by architect J. Stanley Beard for cinema magnate Herbert Yapp.
The 2,175-seat theatre had Italian Renaissance features including grand columns on the upper facade, and like other "super cinemas" a fully equipped stage for live variety acts and a Compton Organ.
Kinematograph Weekly reported that the launch event included a performance by actor and comedian Sydney Howard who was "accorded a tumultuous welcome by the large crowds which overflowed the roadway".

He quipped to the crowds: "Let me say that for the people of Kentish Town it is built for 'em. I apologise for the pun."
A trumpet fanfare, the singing of the national anthem, a Pathe news reel and music from the Alfredo and his Orchestra completed proceedings.
But the following year, the building was taken over by Associated British Cinemas (ABC) and it was eventually renamed the ABC Kentish Town in 1963.
Its days as a movie theatre ended on July 18, 1970 and like many of the country's once grand cinemas it became a bingo hall, then an Irish dance hall.
But the so-called Forum Dancehall quick-stepped back into the limelight in 1985 when it was renovated and reopened as the Town & Country Club.
Under entrepreneur Ollie Smith, it gained a reputation as one of London’s top indie and rock venues, bands like The Velvet Underground, Pixies, Tom Jones, The Smashing Pumpkins, Blur and Radiohead played there.
It was also Scottish and Newcastle Breweries' biggest bar and the sold out shows combined with beer profits made it attractive to venue entrepreneur Vince Power whose Mean Fiddler Music Group swooped in in 1993 and renamed it the London Forum.
Under various owners from the HMV Forum to the O2 Forum the building has continued to attract major artists and legendary performances over the years.
Björk performed her debut solo concert at the venue in September 1993, Arctic Monkeys played a secret show there in 2006, while other high-profile acts have included Dave Grohl, Jack White, and KISS.
Gigs in the coming months include Graham Coxon, Supergrass and The Pogues.
Refurbishments in 2007 and subsequent years have ensured the venue remains modern while preserving its Grade II listed character of a faded but once grand cinema from the glory days of Hollywood.
