World famous jazz club Ronnie Scott's is about to treat Soho to another free street party.
The legendary club will set up two outdoor stages in Frith Street for an all day party packed with live performances of jazz, soul, R&B, hip hop and gospel.
Up to 2,000 music lovers are expected to turn up to the event on Saturday, August 1.
There will be DJs, an outdoor bar and performances from Grammy award-winning duo Blue Lab Beats, award winning bassist Daniel Casimir, R&B singer Shae Universe, triple MOBO award winner Guvna B, Summer Pearl, Marlon the Pannist and the Ronnie Scott's Gospel Choir.
The event was first held in 2019 to mark the venue's 60th birthday and has become an annual fixture ever since.
Open to all, the jazz club - which unveiled a revamp including a new upstairs venue earlier this year - hopes to shine a spotlight on the grassroots venues that nurture Britain's emerging musical talent.
Held in collaboration with the Music Venue Trust and Save Our Scene, Ronnie Scott's is using the event to celebrate the independent venues where artists hone their craft, build audiences, and start their careers.
Representatives from the Music Venue Trust will be present throughout the day, raising awareness of the challenges faced by grassroots venues and their crucial role in London's cultural life.
For more than six decades, Ronnie Scott's has been a platform for emerging talent alongside the world's greatest jazz artists.
The street party continues this tradition by extending live music beyond the club's walls, making music freely accessible to all.
Fred Nash, managing director of Ronnie Scott's, said: "Every artist starts somewhere. Before the festivals, the awards and the headline tours, there are independent venues where musicians can experiment, find their voice and connect with audiences for the first time.
"Those spaces are absolutely essential to the health of British music. The Street Party is our way of opening Ronnie Scott's up to everyone.
"By bringing free live music into the heart of Soho, we want to celebrate the incredible artists performing today while also recognising the wider network of grassroots venues that helps make careers like theirs possible."

The Ronnie Scott's Street Party takes place on Saturday, August 1, from 11.30am until 4.30pm in Frith Street, Soho. Admission is free, with no tickets required.
