Can you guess the way to Egret’s heart?

Fluffy blankets and cuddles!

If that sounds like your idea of a good time, then Egret might just be the friend you’ve been looking for.

Egret arrived at animal welfare charity Mayhew after she was found living as a stray.

At one year old, she’s a gentle and sweet-natured girl looking for a home where she can be someone’s cherished companion.

Her foster carer shared: “Egret is a truly lovely, friendly cat who just wants to be close to her people.

"She adores attention and will happily come and sit beside you on the sofa, especially if there’s a cosy blanket to curl up on.

“She leans into you for strokes, purring contentedly, and loves a proper cuddle in your arms. Gentle and affectionate, Egret simply wants a warm, safe home where she can snuggle up each evening.”

Egret would like to find a home where she will be the only pet and would like to live in an adult-only home with access to a garden.

As we move into spring it’s the perfect time to add some blossom into your life.

Blossom is a gentle girl who thrives on trusted company (Image: Mayhew)

At four-years--old, Blossom is described as a sweet and endearing girl who thrives in the company of her trusted people.

She arrived at Mayhew after being abandoned along with a few other dachshunds.

While they have now found their forever homes, Blossom patiently waits for her turn.

Blossom likes to spend her days going on gentle, quiet walks and a good ball game followed by a lap to curl up on.

She can become worried in busy environments and by new people and dogs, so she’s looking for someone who will advocate for her when needed so she can receive the reassurance and guidance she needs.

Due to her nervous nature, Blossom would love to find a quiet, adult-only home that’s ideally in a rural or semi-rural area and has access to a private garden.

Blossom makes incredibly strong bonds, and once she’s had the time to get to know you, you’ll have a loyal friend for life.

She just needs to be given the chance she deserves.
