Robbie Williams has announced an intimate gig - playing his new album and debut solo album in full at a legendary Camden Town venue.
The announcement via Instagram clears up the mystery of a plaque which appeared last month next to Camden Town's iconic railway bridge.
It referenced the singer "recovering from a severe case of Long 90s," and returning to "the home of Britpop with the album he always wanted to make."
Posting on the social media site yesterday, (August 20) Robbie revealed he's set to perform at Dingwalls in Camden Market on October 9th playing Life Thru A Lens and his new album Britpop in full.
Released at the height of the Britpop scene in 1997, Life Thru A Lens included megahits such as Angels and Let Me Entertain You, and catapulted the former Take That member to superstardom.
The new album is Robbie's 13th solo effort, and the first for six years. Released on October 10 by Columbia Records, it features the previously released singles Rocket, Spies and Human.
Announcing the release in May Robbie said on Instagram: "I set out to create the album that I wanted to write and release after I left Take That in 1995. It was the peak of Britpop and a golden age for British Music.
"I’ve worked with some of my heroes on this album; it's raw, there are more guitars and it's an album that's even more upbeat and anthemic than usual. There's some 'Brit' in there and there's certainly some 'pop' too – I'm immensely proud of this as a body of work and I'm excited for fans to hear this album."
During the late 1990s Camden Town and nearby Primrose Hill were the epicentre of Britpop with members of Blur and Oasis living in the area and frequenting the pubs and clubs alongside the likes of Pulp, Suede and Elastica.
Dingwalls itself has a music legacy that dates back to 1973 when the former Victorian warehouse opened as Dingwalls Dancehall hosting punk bands from The Clash to The Sex Pistols and Blondie, going on to become a famed live music venue.
