St Paul's CE Primary in Camden held an international day

Pupils enjoyed learning about different customs (Image: St Paul's CE Primary School) But what is to be truly celebrated is that when we come together as a community around our children there is some peace and hope in our differences that - in this topsy-turvy world full of tension and bad news - can be enjoyed.

Some food was more familiar to the pupils than others (Image: St Paul's CE Primary School) One parent said: “The international day and lunch was such a special day for the St Paul’s community!

"It was amazing to see our many cultures and home countries celebrated through dress, dance and song, and incredible food!"

International flags provided the backdrop for the international day (Image: St Paul's CE Primary School) Another parent commented: “International Day is important to our family because it celebrates diversity and reminds us of the beauty of different cultures.

"As a Ukrainian family, it is especially meaningful to share our traditions and heritage, ensuring they are recognised and preserved.”
