Motorists will have three road closures to avoid over the next fortnight - with some expected to cause delays of up to 30 minutes.
The A1 and M1 are set for lane, carriageway and slip road closures affecting parts of the road going into Barnet, for maintenance and resurfacing works.
Although most of the closures are earmarked for September 30 through to October 10, one closure is already in place and is expected to carry on this week.
The latest expected works list from National Highways shows that the A1 southbound - from the junction with M25 to the Borehamwood junction - will face a lane closure until Tuesday (October 1).

This has been shut since 10.30pm on September 1 and will continue to be closed until 5am on Tuesday.
This closure is only expected to cause slight delays of under 10 minutes, and is in place due to "urgent" TfL structural maintenance.
A further two closures will begin over the next two weeks on the M1.
The M1 northbound - between junction 1 to junction 5 - will be hit with carriageway and slip road closures, from 10pm on Monday (September 30) until 5am on Tuesday (October 1).
Moderate delays are expected with this closure, of between 10 and 30 minutes.
A week later, the M1 southbound is also set for a carriageway closure, between junction 5 and junction 1, for resurfacing works.
This will be in place from 10pm on October 7 until 5.30am on October 10, and is again expected to cause delays of up to 30 minutes.
For both M1 closures, diversions will be in place via TfL and local authorities roads.
