A major London train station has been evacuated after a fire alarm alert.
London Victoria station was closed as commuters were evacuated at around 10am today (May 11).
Southeastern confirmed on X (formally known as Twitter) that trains were unable to stop due to a fire alarm being activated.

The emergency services are en route to the station
Southeastern trains are currently unable to run to and from the station.
In an update at 11am, it added that the station had reopened however the incident caused some delays to its services.
Commuters were later informed that trains are now expected to be running on time by 12.30pm.
We have contacted London Fire Brigade for further information.
