A new seafood restaurant could open in Camden Town, according to plans for a new shopfront sign.

It is among applications submitted to Camden Council between April 29 and May 5 in the Ham & High readership area.

The council is currently reviewing each application and has yet to make a decision on any of them.

In Belsize Park, a first floor extension could be added to a listed house in Belsize Lane (2024/1219/P and 2024/1759/L).

In Camden Town, a new seafood restaurant could soon be opening in Jamestown Road (2024/1656/A).

One applicant has asked for permission to install a sign for Shrimp Shack – a restaurant group with plans to expand beyond its flagship venue in Streatham High Road.

In Hampstead, there are plans to build a ground floor rear extension to a property in Langland Gardens (2024/0447/P).

A golf simulator studio could soon be built in the rear garden of a house in Goldhurst Terrace (2024/0899/P).

In Windmill Hill, there are plans to create a single family home by merging an existing property with a basement flat (2024/0903/P).

An HMO in nearby Falkland Road could soon become a single family home if new plans submitted to Camden Council are approved (2024/1204/P).

JW3, the Jewish Community Centre London, has asked for permission to build a metal frame for a new art installation on the side of an eight-storey block in Finchley Road (2024/0819/P).

According to planning documents, artist Leon Fenster will create a mural-sized artwork that will be a celebration and exploration of London’s Jewish life.

The charity has said it would like the metal frame to remain beyond the life of this artwork, with a view to future commissions.
