Work is set to begin on a new £20 million industrial and logistics scheme in Welwyn Garden City.
Situated in Tewin Road and within the Mundells industrial area, the site will be known as INTER, and will provide 71,000sqft of industrial space for businesses.
Developer HBD, part of Henry Boot, have confirmed that site preparation works have begun in anticipation of construction starting later this year, with Mitchell Design & Construction Ltd the contractors selected to work on the scheme.
"INTER will deliver best in class, sustainable industrial space, supporting occupiers in meeting their ESG obligations which remains a leading requirement," said HBD executive director Vivienne Clements.
"Coupled with its location and the continued shortage of Grade A industrial space, we expect the scheme to see strong interest from potential occupiers."
