A man has appeared in court accused of threatening a man with a screwdriver outside a Tube station.
Mustafa Benlaribi, 44, appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on January 15 in relation to an alleged incident near Kentish Town Underground Station on December 31, 2023.
Benlaribi, whose address was listed as a room in Britannia Hotel in Primrose Hill Road, is charged with threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a public place.
He is also accused of possessing an offensive weapon - a screwdriver - in a public place.
Benlaribi denies the charges.
Another hearing is due to take place at the same court on February 26 at 10am.
