New Department for Education data has revealed the progress of secondary schools in the Camden borough in 2022-23.

Each school is rated by the progress pupils at that school make between the end of key stage two - normally the end of primary school - and the end of key stage four - usually GCSEs.

The score shows how they compare to pupils across England who got similar results at the end of key stage two.

A score of over zero means that pupils made more progress, on average, whereas a score below zero means pupils made less progress, on average.

According to the DfE, a negative progress score does not mean that pupils made no progress, or that the school has failed, but pupils in the school made less progress than other pupils across England with similar results at the end of primary school.

The data, it added, should be considered alongside a range of other information about the school, which could include looking at school websites, reading Ofsted reports, and speaking to the school directly.

No data was applicable for many secondary schools on the Government's list.
