Harry Styles has shocked fans after revealing that he has grown out his buzzcut and is instead opting for a new hairstyle.

The 29-year-old singer, who lives in Hampstead, broke the internet late last year when he shaved his head.

His buzz cut, unlike his typically longer hairstyle, sparked rumours but failed to impress some fans.

However, it seems Styles is regrowing his hair, causing a stir among fans on social media.

A recent photograph, believed to have been taken on holiday, shows the star sporting a lengthier look.

One fan on X, formerly known as Twitter, reacted, saying: "His hair is already growing back y'all."

Another admirer exclaimed in a tweet: "He's growing his hair back everyone scream."

Many fans complimented Styles on his new look.

One wrote: "looking so good with the short hair", while another added "I'm loving his hair like that".

Last year, some Styles fans were sent into turmoil after pictures posted to his Instagram account revealed he had shaved off his famous locks.

One person recently tweeted: "The top part looks so funny sorry I can’t wait for his curls to come back"

While another commented: "Harry for the love of god I miss your curls and I’ve seen exactly three photos of you without them."

Despite some fans pining for his curls, others seemed nonchalant about hairstyle discussions.

One admirer said: "Why are 50 per cent of the comments still saying something negative about his hair?

"Like it’s enough now, shut up!

"Can’t we just be happy he looks healthy and well rested and totally cute in my opinion?"

Reaction to his drastic hairstyle change was even addressed by his mother, Anne Twist, who made her views clear on the platform.

She said: "When you consider that H has a legacy of kindness and inclusion [...] there’s an irony in the negativity he’s been shown for having a haircut.

"Sorry but I don’t get it."

The singer owns a property in Hampstead and can often be spotted around the area.

In June 2023, the former One Direction member was spotted entering Hampstead station before one of his tour gigs.
