Stunning pictures show the Balloon Museum which is now open in London with a new eye-popping show of inflatable art.

The award-winning exhibition has already run in New York, Rome, Paris, Milan, Madrid and Naples, welcoming more than 3 million visitors across the globe, and even featuring in Netflix hit Emily in Paris.

The UK group exhibition, EmotionAir: Art you can feel, features new work by twenty international artists at the historic Old Billingsgate market. Visitors to the vast 78,000 square feet space are immersed in a multisensory journey through over-the-top, oversized, and unexpected immersive installations.

The exhibition, which opened on December 27, aims to explore the "profound relationship between art and human emotion through the captivating medium of inflatable art".

EmotionAir will also investigate the history of inflatable objects, from the Montgolfier brothers’ 18th century hot air balloon to contemporary art icons such as the Balloon Dog series by American artist Jeff Koons.

Organisers hope to banish the traditional distance between artwork and viewer by creating a tactile and sensory journey through installations which are not just works of art but "vehicles for emotion".
