Plans to turn vacant offices into a HMO and create one home out of two existing flats are among those to be considered.

The applications have all been submitted to Camden Council in the last week in the Ham & High readership area.

There are plans (2023/4762/P) to turn vacant offices in Kentish Town into a house in multiple occupation (HMO). 

The work would include new windows being installed to the front of the building in Wolsey Mews as well as the addition of a roof terrace for future residents.

One applicant in Willes Road has asked to build a flat-roofed extension to the existing roof to create an additional storey with a balcony to the front (2023/4224/P).

As part of the work to re-open The Constitution pub in St Pancras Way, Camden Town - permission to install new advertising has been requested. 

Application 2023/4476/A suggests two new fascia signs, a swing sign, two illuminated A4 menu cases, a corner sign, a high level ghost sign and a branded plaque would be installed.

There are plans to build a single-storey side extension at ground level at a property in Redington Road in Hampstead (2023/3488/P).

Meanwhile, in Oakhill Avenue, one applicant is looking to install a rear dormer roof with an inset balcony (2023/4795/L).

At a property King Henry's Road in Primrose Hill, there are plans to build a new wheelchair access platform lift (2023/3130/P).

Other alterations include installing new and replacement windows and doors as well as building an external staircase at the back of the property.

In Belsize Park's Eldon Grove (2023/3443/P) there are plans to demolish and replace existing rear ground and first floor conservatories at one property. 

In Belsize Square, one proposal seeks to turn two lower-ground floor flats into one self-contained unit (2023/4351/P).

The plans would also involve demolishing and reconstructing the lower-ground floor rear extension (2023/4525/P).

Over in Dartmouth Park, there are plans for a rear and side infill extension, with an additional single storey extension at the first floor in Woodsome Road (2023/3434/P).

The council will also review an application to build a partial new basement below former garages next to flats in Crediton Hill, West Hampstead (2023/4098/P).
