An Italian restaurant has started providing more than just pizza and pasta for local people.
That’s Amore in Finchley Road, Golders Green, has put out a chair for people to sit on while they wait at the bus stop directly outside the restaurant.
A note spotted on October 2 by a reader of this paper has been fixed to the chair by the restaurant.
It reads: “We care about old people. Please have a seat while you[‘re] waiting for your bus. That’s Amore Restaurant”
The bus stop serves route 13 between North Finchley and Victoria station, route 102 between Brent Cross and Edmonton Green and route 460 between Willesden and North Finchley.
