Cardi B, Kim Kardashian and Megan Thee Stallion are fans, now fast food chain Popeyes is bringing its famous chicken burgers to Kilburn.
The clock is ticking down for the October 5 opening of the brand's new restaurant in Kilburn High Road with another "coming soon" to Wembley.
Since opening its first UK outlet in Stratford in 2021 the American fast food chain has been on a mission to expand, including its first drive-through site in Rotherham which is said to have broken global sales records.
Founded in New Orleans in 1972, Popeyes is among a growing number of North American fast food chains aiming for rapid expansion in the UK. The menu is based around chicken marinated for 12 hours in a signature blend of Louisiana herbs and spices, then breaded, battered.
Burgers are served in a brioche bun with pickles, and customers can choose from either classic or spicy chicken. The menu also includes wraps, chicken pieces, tenders, wings, a creole red bean burger for vegans - alongside shakes and iced 'Whipz' desserts.
The group has even launched a wedding catering service offering its chicken sandwiches, biscuits and hot wings for up to 150 guests.
Popeyes takes over a former dentist at the corner of Quex Road with the Kilburn restaurant joining existing outlets in Ealing, Stratford, Woolwich, Romford, and Richmond.
A new restaurant is also planned at 464-466 Wembley High Road, as well as another in Croydon at 43, George Street.
