A 75-year-old man from Hornsey is accused of sexually abusing children in Morocco
John Thorogood, of Middle Lane, Hornsey, appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (August 3).
He is accused of charged with engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a 15-year-old boy and a boy aged between 10 and 12 years old.
Thorogood is also charged with two counts of sexually assaulting a boy by touching.
These offences are all said to have taken place in Morocco in 2012.
He is also charged with possessing over 200,000 indecent images of children on or before December 9, 2021, in Haringey.
Thorogood appeared in the dock at the north London court but was not asked to enter pleas.
He will next appear at Wood Green Crown Court at the end of August.
