Summer holidays can be really stressful for parents as their food bill to feed children those extra meals goes up.

Consumer website Money Saving Central has found places where kids, mostly aged 10 and younger, can eat for free or for very little, over the six weeks of the school break.

The four major supermarkets have deals, with some needing no adult spend at all.

Some restaurants, hotels and even IKEA are offering deals to help families' money go further over the summer break.


Stop at an Asda cafe and kids eat for £1 all day, with no adult spend at all.

The supermarket says it has added vegan and nutritionally balanced meal options to its recently refreshed menu. A free piece of fruit is included with all kids’ hot meal deals,


Kids can get a free breakfast with any adult purchase in a Tesco Café while the Kids Eat Free offer is available from July 24 to September 1.

On offer in their 'Little' range are beans on toast, eggs on toast, avocado on toast and blueberry pancakes.

There are also filling lunch deals for every adult purchase where a child can pick a main, two sides and a drink.


At Sainsbury's Cafe, kids eat for £1 with the purchase of an adult meal from 11.30am every day.


At Morrisons spend £4.49 and get on free kids meal all day.

Yo! Sushi

From July 17 to August 11 kids eat free at Yo! Sushi with every £10 adult spend.

From 4pm to 6pm Monday to Thursday children can eat at Bella Italia for £1 with any adult main.


Any families going to Ikea can feed their kids from 95p after 11am.

Premier Inn

If you're staying at Premier Inn, one adult paying £8.99 for breakfast can get free meals for two children.

Gordon Ramsay

Children aged eight or younger can enjoy a free meal from the set menu at selected Gordon Ramsay restaurants, including the York & Albany in Parkway, Camden and Pizza East restaurants. 

Adults must be dining from the a la carte menu to make the most of the deal.
