Three people were injured when three cars crashed in a busy street.

Camden Road was closed both ways near Camden Road station at 6.20pm after a crash today (July 6).

The road was closed between Royal College Street and Camden Street.

Metropolitan Poice says that a car crashed into street furniture and two cars.

One person was taken to a west London hospital and another two to a central London hospital.

At the moment their condition is not known.

One eyewitness said on Twitter: “Scary stuff as I’d passed the Costa Coffee 30 sec(s) before I heard the loud screech and crash behind me.

“Such a busy area as there were tonnes of people assisting already.”

While a cordon was in place, bus routes including the 29, 253 and 274 were diverted from the area.

It has now reopened and traffic is easing.

There have been no arrests at this time, the Met said.
