Summer has well and truly arrived and with it the return of al fresco dining.

We know that it can be overwhelming when trying to choose the right place to eat over the weekend.

So we have rounded up Camden’s best restaurants with outdoor seating based on TripAdvisor ratings so you can decide which is your best bet in the coming months.

Top of TripAdvisor’s list is this Greek restaurant in Plender Street.

Just a short walk from Mornington Crescent Tube station, the restaurant enjoys a perfect five out of five stars on the website.

With outdoor seating it could be a great option for dining as the weather gets warmer.

One customer posted a five star review just two days ago. They said: “A relatively quiet spot off Camden High Street.

“Delicious food, large portions, great and friendly service with a good selection of wines too. We even came back for a night cap…what's not to love?”

Andy’s Greek Taverna (Greek)

Next on the list is another Greek restaurant closer to the heart of Camden Town in Pratt Street.

One reviewer claimed that they love the restaurant so much they have been at least 50 times in the last three years.

They said: “I normally order takeaway for pick up but it’s a lovely restaurant to sit in too.

“The food is spot on every single time. Tzatziki is the best I’ve ever had including in Greece, the chicken is to die for and the staff are super friendly.

“It’s also incredible value. Can’t fault it - going back Saturday.”

Purezza (Italian)

This restaurant in Parkway has ample outdoor seating, and according to TripAdvisor, promises a price range between £6 and £12.

One customer recently compared the pizza’s at the restaurant to those you can find in Italy.

In a five star review, they said: “Just like Pizza you can taste in Napoli, pizzas are well cooked in the wood fire oven, nicely and sporadically burnt rim while the bottom is not moist, which puts me off at many pizza restaurants outside Italy. Quite satisfactory in quality, we'll be back.

Hache Camden (American)

The only non-European restaurant on the list, Hache Camden in Inverness Street offers a selection of burgers that have proved popular on TripAdvisor.

The restaurant has vegetarian and gluten free options, with one reviewer from last summer praising the food.

They said: “Great food, great ambiance, and great staff. Can't ask for more.

“Love then [sic] plant based burgers and the beef ones were also really juicy. Shakes are amazing and drinks as well.

“Could eat here every week. Thank you so much for a lovely evening.”

Il Sugo (Italian)

Rounding off out list is another well-loved Italian restaurant, which, like Andy’s Greek Taverna, is situated in Pratt Street.

One customer said that although they live in Worcester, the restaurant is their favourite place to eat.

Their five star review said: “My wife and I live in Worcester, but this is 100% our favourite place to eat....we always make a point to visit whenever in London.

“The food is fresh, delicious and very reasonably priced. A real gem.”
