The midsummer heat may be rising, but immersive entertainment experts Secret Cinema are already thinking about Father Christmas and snow.
The creative minds who brought extravagant shows based around Guardians of the Galaxy and Bridgerton to Wembley, have come up with an original story for a festive family adventure.
Wishmas: A Fantastical Christmas Adventure will come to life in Wembley Park for eight weeks from November 14. Those eager to look ahead to something cool and wintry can book tickets from 10am on June 15.
Instead of creating their usual interactive cinematic worlds based on the likes of Dirty Dancing, Star Wars, Back to the Future or Moulin Rouge, they will conjure an enchanted realm where wishes take flight.
For those who believe, the portal to Wishmas will open and allow visitors into a magical space where they can journey to see Father Christmas, meeting out-of-this-world characters, and seeing first hand what happens to their wishes.
Since staging their first event in 2007, Secret Cinema has put on more than 70 productions worldwide in abandoned buildings and open spaces, with a million plus people enjoying their events in the UK alone.
Ticketholders are directed to a location where costumed characters guide them to the secret venue, then tape up their phones so they can't spoil the surprise for others.
