Rail services through Camden have been severely disrupted this morning after “trespassers” on the track.

The incident took place on the Thameslink line between St Pancras International and West Hampstead Thameslink at around 6am this morning (May 30).

Trains running this route also stop at Kentish Town.

The trespass incident has resulted in disruption to all Thameslink lines.

In a Tweet, Thameslink said: “Due to trespassers on the railway between St Pancras International and West Hampstead Thameslink, all lines are blocked.”

National Rail said that services “may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised” and would not return to normal before 8.30am.

Thameslink has confirmed that because of “congestion”, passengers can use their ticket at no extra cost on “reasonable” London Overground routes and on TfL buses between Blackfriars and West Hampstead Thameslink.
