Get your scorecards and sequins ready as the 26 finalists prepare to sing for their lives in front of a global audience of 160 million at Eurovision on Saturday.

West Hampstead singer Katrina Leskanich, who won for the UK in 1997 with Love Shine A Light, has tweeted that she will be in Liverpool 'to join in on all the hoopla!'.

With the bookies favouring Sweden's entrant Loreen, the UK's Mae Muller from Kentish Town is predicted to finish in the top 10 at the annual contest which is being hosted on behalf of Ukraine.

For those who missed out on a ticket to the event itself there are many places to enjoy the annual spectacle of camp across London.

The Everyman cinemas in Hampstead, Maida Vale, Muswell Hill and King's Cross are hosting Watch Parties for Saturday's final. Doors open at 7.15pm for an evening of Eurovision fun with cocktails, dancing and the sensational show itself. Tickets from £21.40 include a drink, snacks and scorecard to get in on the judging. Fancy dress is optional but encouraged.

The Barbican cinema, Vue Islington, Phoenix in East Finchley, Curzons in Hoxton and Camden, Rio in Dalston, Finsbury Park and Hackney Picturehouses, Odeon Holloway and Vue Finchley Road are also hosting screenings of the grand final with fancy dress and sing-a-longs "heavily encouraged". John Travers of CinemaLive, distributors of the event said: "We’re delighted to be working with the BBC to bring Eurovision’s Grand Final live into cinemas across the UK for the first time ever! The Trinity Bell a Fuller's pub in Aldgate will be decked in balloons and confetti for a Eurovision screening party, with guess the score, Eurovision bingo, games and a best-dressed competition from 5pm, on May 13.

The Eurovision Party at The Strongroom Bar in Curtain Road, Shoreditch is sold out online but there will be tickets available on the door for a night of drag performances, screenings, live DJ Tasmin Taylor on the decks and karaoke after the winners are announced. From 6pm Saturday 13th.

Sadly Signature Brew's Eurovision party at their Haggerston tap room is sold out but there is a waiting list available for the event hosted by drag star Felix le Freak. As well as screening all the action live from Liverpool, there will be a huge pop party with Felix guiding you through the results and a cheesy tune-filled DJ set with ‘glitter, glam, cocktails and tunes’ continuing until 1am.

And Savage Garden a rooftop bar near The Tower of London is hosting a Bitchin' Brunch as a warm up to the big night. For those who prefer their avocado with a slice of attitude, there will be free-flow Prosecco, Bellinis or Hero Mocktails, and a two-course brunch plus outrageous performances and humour from the capital’s best Drag Artists with quick-witted comedy queens, a glamorous DJ, and fierce lip-syncing acts such as Rhys' Pieces.
