Food hygiene: All the Camden eatery ratings in January 2023

According to the latest list of places near local areas within Camden’s borough, all places visited by the environmental health team were either 'good' or 'very good'.

This month, a popular Wetherspoon pub was among those inspected.

How it works

The Ham&High is keeping a monthly record of food hygiene inspections within Camden.

The food hygiene scores range from zero - meaning 'urgent improvement' is needed - to five, which is deemed 'very good'.

Here is a list of the places evaluated in January:

The small shop in Camden Market was inspected on January 4 and given a 5/5 rating and rated 'very good'.

This café also scored the highest possible rating, 5/5, and was ranked 'very good' on January 4.

On January 5, the pizza spot was given a 5/5 and ranked 'very good'.

On January 9, this eatery was ranked 'good' with a 4/5 rating.

Both the hygienic food handling and cleanliness and condition of facilities were 'good' but the management of food safety was 'generally satisfactory'.

Blank Street

Chalk Farm Road

The café was found to be 'very good' with a 5/5 rating on January 9.

The Ice Wharf

Jamestown Road, Camden

The large Wetherspoon pub with ample seating both inside and outside overlooking Camden Lock was given a 5/5 rating and ranked 'very good' on January 11.

This pub was ranked 'very good' and rated 5/5 on January 11.
