Ian Wright hits a fabulous double, his 47th and 48th goals in just 65 Gunners appearances, as Arsenal beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 in the fifth round of the FA Cup, but later limps off with a groin injury - and out of England's forthcoming World Cup qualifier with San Marino.
He joins Highbury team-mate Alan Smith on the treatment table and watching England manager Graham Taylor sympathises: "I shall feel really gutted for Ian if he doesn't make it. Nobody deserves to play for his country more than he does.''
Meanwhile, reports north of the border link Celtic midfielder John Collins with a move to Highbury. "I want to keep him," declares Celtic boss Liam Brady.
