A circus themed fundraiser raised more than 20,000 for the work of a St John’s Wood hospice on Thursday (September 27).
Around 130 guests paid 100 for tickets to the event at St John and Elizabeth’s hospital, which raised funds for St John’s Hospice.
Guests were treated to a champagne reception and dinner, as they witnessed circus performers back flip over rows of kitchen knives.
An auction raised a significant portion of the cash, with one buyer snapping a ticket for a Caribbean break, and others bagging tours of nearby Lords Cricket Ground.
