The Primrose Hill Christmas lights will be switched on in a festive flurry on Sunday (November 25) as Regent’s Park Road is turned into a winter wonderland for the day - with pony-rides, a visit from Father Christmas and fairground rides.
Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw will be welcoming the season with some carefully chosen tunes and another famous local resident, MP David Miliband, will be turning on the lights.
Mr Miliband will also be reciting some poetry to mark the moment.
A 72-piece choir will also perform, along with jazz musician Collette Cooper, and a number of other local acts. There will be dozens of gift stands and lots of world-food stalls.
The Christmas Fair beings at 11am and the lights will be turned on at 4.30pm.
