The ladies’ swimming pond at Hampstead Heath remains closed following the death of Sussie Ahlburg.
The City of London Corporation, which runs the Heath, could not confirm when the bathing pond will reopen, but an announcement will be made on the Hampstead Heath Twitter feed when it does.
The pond has remained closed since Monday when Ms Ahlburg’s body was found.
A City spokesman said it has been kept shut to aid investigations by police and by its own officers, and also for reasons of respect.
Ms Ahlburg, 50, a succesful photographer whose work appeared in Vogue, The Wall Street Journal, the Ham&High and many other publications, was reported missing after she went swimming on Sunday.
Her body was retrieved by police divers at about 2.30pm on Monday.
A post mortem at St Pancras Mortuary proved inconclusive on Wednesday and further tests are being carried out.
An inquest into Ms Ahlburg’s death has yet to be opened at St Pancras Coroner’s Court.
