A renowned opera conductor will host the latest fundraiser for Hampstead’s community-run library tonight.
The Royal Opera House’s Paul Wynne Griffiths will speak about a 35-year career in which he has worked with some of the world’s best singers, and the inner-workings of the famous Covent Garden concert hall. He is following in the footsteps of actor Simon Callow and comedian and broadcaster Michael Palin, who have both given talks in aid of volunteer-run Keats Community Library.
The event takes places at the library in Keats Grove from 7.30pm and tickets are £8, with all proceeds going towards the library.
