Staff, relatives and residents gathered for a bustling barbecue to celebrate the first anniversary of a care home.

Festivities got off to a cheery start as guests enjoyed the sizzling snacks and good weather at Maitland Park Care Home in Maitland Park Road, in Queen’s Crescent, on Wednesday, June 18.

The were also celebrating the move of Ingestre Road and Wellesley Road care home residents into Maitland Park Care Home.

Staff say the home, which is run by Shaw Healthcare in partnership with Camden Council, has been a resounding success so far, boasting spacious communal areas, an exercise and pamper room and even a hairdresser.

Manager June Dover, said: “It was a fantastic day with the staff and residents from all the different care homes interacting and engaging with each other.”
