Families, volunteers and foodies gathered to taste, cook and buy gourmet delights at a bustling Jewish food festival.
The annual Gefiltefest festival returned to the London Jewish Cultural Centre (LJCC) at Ivy House, North End Road, Golders Green, on June 15.
The all-day event offered 75 different sessions, including live cookery demonstrations, garden food stalls and cookery workshops.
Charity Jewish Care hosted a bake-off between two different care homes. Volunteers from Brenner Community Centre in Stamford Hill went head-to-head with colleagues from the Michael Sobell Centre, in Golders Green Road, raising £200.
Rosetta Wolf, 79, of the Michael Sobell Centre team, said: “It is a great opportunity to give back to a community that has been so welcoming to us.”
