A man waging an anti-feminist campaign was ejected from a feminist writer’s book talk after crashing the event.
Mike Buchanan, founder of a political party called Justice for Men and Boys, travelled from Bedfordshire for a talk by Laura Bates (pictured) about her book Everyday Sexism.
The event was held at Waterstones in Hampstead High Street, Hampstead, on Wednesday last week. He handed out anti-feminism fliers criticising the writer but was asked to leave within minutes of arriving.
Ms Bates, who founded the Everyday Sexism Project website, collecting tales of sexism in daily life, went ahead with her talk and book signing once Mr Buchanan had left.
She has previously had to suffer internet trolling and death threats.
