Some of the Britain’s best folk acts descended on Primrose Hill last weekend as it played host to the very first London Folk Fayre.
The all-day event last Saturday celebrated the very best of the British Folk scene and featured a number of award-winning acts.
Taking place at Cecil Sharp House, the “heart of English Folk”, in Regent’s Park Road, acts included Lady Maisery, Melrose Quartet, Greg Russell, Vannan James and Forbes Moncrieff.
The family-friendly fayre also featured clog dancing, spoons workshops, and traditional sing-a-longs.
Claire Simmons, one of the organisers, said: “It was really well attended and people are already asking about next year’s event.”
