Conservative sources report Boris Johnson was “furious” with Transport for London (TfL) for claiming a “cross-party campaign” saved the number 13 bus.
Mr Johnson halted plans from TfL to scrap the popular route from Golders Green earlier this month after visiting Finchley and Golders Green Tory candidate Mike Freer.
Mr Freer claimed the plaudits but then TfL insisted it was a “cross-party” victory.
