An elderly man has died after apparently collapsing at the wheel of his car and crashing into a wall in Camden.
The fatality happened last Thursday afternoon in the underground car park of Sainsbury’s in Camden Road.
Police were called to the scene by the London Ambulance Service shortly after 4pm.
A police spokesperson said: “At this early stage, it appears the driver of the car collapsed at the wheel and his car then collided with the wall. The driver, a man aged 80, was pronounced dead the scene.”
Next of kin have been informed and a post-mortem will take place in due course.
