Police were called to the Hampstead Heath Extension this morning after a body was found.
Police have confirmed the body is a man who hanged himself.
A police spokesman said: “Police were called to the Heath Extension at 6:55 this morning and a body of a man was found hanged.
“It is not being treated as suspicious.”
Police are yet to formally identify the body.
