The Heath may soon play host to Euro champ Cesc Fabregas' pinpoint passes - he has just splashed out £5million on a luxury pad on West Heath road.
Medallist Fabregas has hit destination - lap of luxury with his new pile of bricks, which features a 60 square foot garden for the maestro to hone his kick-ups, a wine cooler to keep celebratory Cristal on ice and an integrated home entertainment system so he can catch widescreen highlights of his through-balls.
Cesc's decision to lay down roots in north west London will be music to the ears of Arsenal fans after he had been linked to a move to Real Madrid.
Tony Gilchik, from the Heath and Hampstead society, said: "If he starts playing football in the long grass on the Heath and squashing it we'll get a bit upset; we hope he'll stick to the mowed football pitches."
