The annual civic awards, which are run by Barnet Council, are open to any residents who have worked to help others in the borough.
Anyone who wants to make a nomination for the community hero of their choice just needs to fill in a form. Mayor of Barnet Cllr John Marshall is judging the awards.
He said: "I am looking forward to meeting the winners at the ceremony to acknowledge their contribution to life in Barnet.
"It is important the council recognises those who work tirelessly for the benefit of others and celebrates their hard work."
Nominations for the prestigious competition close on Friday, November 28.
For a copy of the nomination form telephone 020-8359 7796 or email rachel. tansley@barnet.gov.uk.
