FORMER Arsenal legend Terry Neill says he is 'exasperated' at the 'silly money' being thrown at clubs from foreign investors.

And after Arsenal's impressive financial results were revealed last week, Neill believes the Arsenal way is the right way.

"I said it when I was manager and I will say it again; Arsenal is the best-run club in the country," he says.

"Arsene said in his statement at the AGM that we live within our means and that is the right way.

"It's the silly season at the moment with all that stuff at Manchester City and the continuing nonsense at Newcastle.

"In the meantime, we spend wisely, announce big profits and top the league playing brilliant football... enough said, really."
