Despite some schools across the capital being closed due to snowy conditions, leading some parents to send in photos of their unhappy dressed-up children, plenty of you have been donning the wares of your favourite characters.

Please send photos of your kids dressed up for World Book Day photos, even if their schools were closed, to james.scott@archant.co.uk for our print round-up in next week’s Hackney Gazette.
