An artist from Stoke Newington is joining 31 other women and men who have had breast cancer in a fashion catwalk show tonight (Thu), to highlight how you can “still look and feel amazing” after diagnosis.
Heather Lodder, of Rectory Road, was selected from hundreds of applicants to take part in the annual Breast Cancer Care Fashion Show hosted by TV celebs Claudia Winkleman and Victoria Derbyshire.
The mother-of-one, who was diagnosed with breast cancer eight years ago, said: “Being a part of the show and getting to know my 31 fellow models, and to celebrate with them that there is life with cancer and after cancer, is wonderful.
“If I can help raise awareness of the disease and fundraise for Breast Cancer Care at the same time, I’m happy.”
